Experience Italy & Spain with Audrey as your Local Host
Planning a vacation abroad can be stressful, time-consuming, often confusing, and those pre-packaged vacations don’t always offer what you are looking for. A customized private guided tour is right for you if:
You want someone with local knowledge, experience and expertise, to come up with a great itinerary and just take care of you.
You want to see the highlights, but you also want unique experiences that help to immerse you in the local culture.
You just want to book your flight and go, without needing to spend weeks planning.
You don't want the same old trip that everyone else books & you don't like tourist traps.

AUDREY IS YOUR LOCAL HOST
Audrey is your local host from the moment you arrive to the moment you fly back home, taking care of the logistics and all the details on the ground. She will introduce you to restaurateurs, farmers, winemakers and artisans. With Audrey at your side, you will benefit from her lifetime of travel experience in Europe.
She will guide you through all the uncertainties of travel, be your translator, take you on orientation walks, steer you off the beaten path, show you points of interest, assist you with "how things work", finding just the right restaurant and share interesting stories and fun facts about the local culture. Are we joined at the hip? Of course not! You have her guidance for as much, or as little, of the day as you desire.
FAMILY MEMORIES MADE EASY
This isn’t just a family trip, it’s your family trip. It seems hard enough to get the family all together in one place, not to mention all in one vacation. Wouldn’t it be great to do away with all the guesswork and uncertainty in planning the perfect family vacation or family reunion? Traveling is one of the most exciting ways for families to bond. We take care of everything so that parents, grandparents, teenagers and kids can spend time enjoying being together and discovering new sights, and fun activities for all without stressing over directions, hotels, transportation, or what to see, do, and eat! Let someone else takes care of all the planning and logistics so you can enjoy quality family time.

HOW WE PROVIDE AN AUTHENTIC TRAVEL EXPERIENCE
Every communication, from your first contact until the end of your tour will be with us. We work with you to plan your trip, make all the land arrangements and personally lead your trip. We greet you at the airport when you arrive, and personally oversee all aspects of your tour. When you travel with us you receive a special kind of attention. Here are several reasons why most of our clients are returning travelers:
You travel with Audrey:
From the moment Audrey welcomes you on tour to your final goodbyes, she will be there every step of the way, like traveling with a friend away from home.
Local expert guides:
Our local licensed expert guides are not lecturers but "connectors” to the stories of the places you are visiting.
Authentic experiences & activities:
Dine in local family-owned restaurants, enjoy truffle hunting, walking tours, cooking classes, family run winery visits and tastings, castle tours, battlefield tours, museum visits with pre-reserved entrance times and so much more.
Stay in charming boutique hotels
You will stay in handpicked, locally owned boutique hotels, agriturismi (farmhouses), offering local charm, hospitality, comfort and local character.
Flexibility built into your custom itinerary:
We don't try to squeeze your days full of check-list items with long bus rides between them. Enjoy well-paced, flexible travel which includes a mix of guided tours and time to explore on your own.
Support small business:
Proud owners of boutique accommodations, multi-generational wineries and family-run restaurants welcome you to share the beauty of their regions.
Connect with the locals:
Experience closer contact with the locals, something not possible on a big group tour.
Visit local hidden gems:
By skipping the overcrowded sites for a slice of authenticity you’ll help ease the pressure on the effects of over-tourism. Visit magical places you would never find on your own.
OUR GOLD STANDARD
We've personally tried, tasted and tested every single experience, ensuring quality and authenticity. If it doesn’t meet our personal Stamp of Approval, it won’t be on your tour! Zero tourist traps, subpar service, or second rate food.

HOW DO WE PRICE YOUR CUSTOM PRIVATE TOUR PACKAGE?
Custom itineraries are developed as a tour package and we charge a planning fee. We handle all the logistics for your land arrangements to make your vacation run flawlessly from arrival to departure. Pricing is determined by the number of people in your private group, choice of accommodations, meals, planned activities, expert local guides, local ground transportation, length of stay and additional options chosen.
Tour dates are booked on a first come, first served basis. Space is not held until a signed Liability Waiver and Release, Guest Registration Form and initial deposit are received. Audrey works with multiple clients at any given time, so you might be in the running for dates already selected by another private group.
What is not included in your private guided tour:
- Your airfare
- Items of a personal nature (i.e. laundry, phone calls)
- Personal, health and travel insurance
- Activities in your leisure time
- Excess baggage charges and porterage
- Incidental expenses, such as room service incurred at hotels. All expenses are to be settled prior to leaving the accommodation
- It takes time to create quality. Ideally, we’d begin planning your trip six months in advance, or three months if you’re not travelling during high season.
- In a world of constant changes, please note that our quoted costs are merely informative, as all services have to be confirmed at the time of the booking. Quotes are valid up to 15 days from the date they are sent and they may require modifications.
- Hotel availability and prices cannot be guaranteed until they are booked and may not be fully protected at the time of the quote. Some hotel rates fluctuate almost every day.
- While pricing across custom itineraries can vary, our bespoke trips typically start at $350 per person per day, inclusive of accommodations, private excursions, transfers and our dedicated planning services.
- Our custom vacation plans will not be itemized, and we only accept full-service planning when hotel reservations are part of the itinerary. If you are unable to stand/walk for 3 consecutive hours, cannot carry your own luggage, cannot walk for extended periods of time, have trouble walking up and down hills, or require a special diet, this trip may not be for you. Please contact Audrey if you have any questions.
